Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide education and counseling to patients and family members, enhancing their understanding of treatment options, adaptive strategies, and available resources.

• Remain available for on-call consultations during after-hours to support staff members and respond to patient crises.

• Coordinate with community resources to facilitate patient access to ongoing support and services after discharge.

• Serve as a resource for fellow team members, providing guidance on complex cases and actively participating in the professional development of others.

• Engage in research and education initiatives, presenting on topics related to psychosocial oncology at conferences and contributing to the advancement of clinical knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with patients undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. This role is pivotal in addressing their mental health needs, identifying comorbid conditions such as anxiety and depression, and connecting them with relevant resources. By understanding the unique circumstances of each patient, the LCSW plays a critical role in fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

We are seeking candidates who possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with an active LCSW license in the state of Florida. Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
