Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to evaluate mental health status and establish individualized treatment plans.

• Monitor progress, perform ongoing evaluations, and adjust treatment interventions to ensure the effectiveness of mental health care.

• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and documentation in alignment with regulatory standards, employing current technology to ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with clients and their families to create and refine comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate cultural considerations and individual goals.

• Engage in case coordination and create effective referral processes to link clients with additional resources and services, ensuring seamless transitions in care.

• Provide education and emotional support to clients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and coping strategies relevant to their experiences.

• Mentor and support interns and students, fostering growth and development within the mental health field while facilitating a learning environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus primarily on individuals and families dealing with the psychological and emotional ramifications of cancer diagnoses. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work.

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of California.

• Ability to engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, and bending, and the capability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Preferred candidates will have experience in outpatient therapy with a focus on chronic illness populations, particularly those impacted by cancer. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and previous involvement in interdisciplinary teams will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 - 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
