Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to gather relevant patient history and understand individual mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy services to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses, to coordinate holistic patient care.

• Participate in clinical supervision and staff meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and improve therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse adult patients ranging from those seeking therapy for common issues like stress, depression, and anxiety, to individuals with more complex mental health diagnoses. As part of a hospice center, you will also have the opportunity to support terminally ill patients and their families, providing essential emotional and psychological assistance during a critical time.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license to practice clinical social work (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• Proven experience in providing psychotherapy to a diverse clientele.

• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and modern healthcare technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
