Senior Android Engineer

Seeking a passionate Senior Android Engineer for a fully remote, full-time position focused on building and launching Android home-screen launchers, including the Arrow Arcade Launcher, while mentoring other developers and ensuring compliance with Google Play policies. Key responsibilities Design and develop native Android launchers, integrating Unity games and ensuring optimal performance and memory management Architect a modular, reusable launcher platform to support future variants while managing projects from planning to deployment Utilize AI coding tools to enhance development efficiency and advocate for high-quality, maintainable code through testing and code reviews Required qualifications 6+ years of experience in building large-scale Android applications, with proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Dagger Hands-on experience developing custom Android launchers and integrating Unity as a library Familiarity with Google Play policies for launchers and ad SDK integration (AdMob, Unity Ads) Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and tools such as GitHub Copilot Strong understanding of Android architecture components and performance profiling techniques
