About the Role
The Company is in search of a General Counsel to take on a pivotal leadership role in overseeing all legal and regulatory aspects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice, guidance, and strategy to ensure that the organization's business practices, policies, and dealings comply with all legal requirements and standards. This includes advising senior leadership and the Board on a wide range of legal, strategic, and governance matters, establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, and monitoring evolving insurance law and regulations. The role also involves leading risk identification and mitigation, providing legal counsel on employment matters, and overseeing dispute resolution and corporate transactions. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should be seasoned legal professionals with a strong background in corporate law, governance, and regulatory compliance.
