Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Investigating and resolving property damage and bodily injury claims, the full-time Nebraska Licensed Claims Examiner will evaluate claims, analyze coverage, and negotiate settlements while working remotely or onsite in Omaha, NE. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations of assigned claims, including gathering necessary information and coordinating with independent adjusters Analyze coverage rights and obligations under insurance contracts and collaborate with the Legal Department on compliance issues Establish and modify case reserves, negotiate claim settlements, and maintain accurate documentation of all communications and claims processes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Three or more years of related work experience in claims examination Knowledge of insurance contracts and claim procedures Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications Experience with loss evaluation methods and claim resolution alternatives
