Heavy Equipment Operator

Schedule: 2-2-3 Compensation: $25-$30 per hour - based on experience Are you someone who thrives behind the controls, loves working with big machines, and wants to be part of something bigger than just a job? We’re looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator who’s ready to take charge in a fast-paced, hands-on role that keeps our operations running smoothly and safely. What You’ll Be Driving (Literally & Figuratively) Locomotives, yard trucks, and other heavy machinery that keep our logistics flowing. Railcars and trailers — moved with precision and care. High-quality food products — loaded and shipped with accuracy and pride. Your Day-to-Day Operate and inspect equipment. Support truck and rail loadouts to meet delivery timelines. Perform conductor/grounds duties in the rail yard. Keep equipment clean, maintained, and ready to roll. Use tech tools to track schedules and maintenance. Stay sharp on food safety and workplace safety standards. What You Bring to the Table High school diploma or GED (bonus points for technical training). Experience with locomotives or yard trucks? Even better. Manufacturing or food-safe environment experience preferred. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently. Team spirit, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Physical & Environmental Expectations You’re comfortable with noise, dust, heat, and cold. Able to lift 50 lbs and climb stairs/ladders. Can work at heights over 20 feet and in confined spaces.
