In this role, you will own month-end close, general ledger management, account reconciliations, and preparation of accurate financial statements and analysis. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls, and partner closely with operations leaders to explain results and drive performance. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close for multi-store retail operations Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and management dashboards for leadership Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to drive profitable decision-making Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies and procedures Oversee journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, and inventory-related accounting activities Collaborate with operations and store leadership to explain results and improve financial performance Assist with audits, tax support schedules, and documentation for external partners Identify process improvements, streamline reporting, and leverage systems to increase accuracy and efficiency Required Skills General ledger accounting Financial reporting Budgeting and forecasting GAAP compliance Account reconciliations Variance analysis Excel (advanced) ERP/accounting systems Audit support Cash flow analysis #J-18808-Ljbffr
