Manager in Training (MIT) - Rooms Division - Nantucket, MA (Healthcare) POSITION SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Rooms Leadership Team, the Manager in Training (MIT) - Rooms Division is a structured hospitality leadership development role designed to provide hands‑on experience across all facets of hotel operations. Through a rotational training program, the MIT will gain exposure to Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Revenue Management, and Operational Leadership functions while developing the skills necessary for future management opportunities within Collared Martin Hospitality. The MIT will work closely with department leaders to understand luxury hospitality standards, guest experience management, team leadership, operational efficiency, and revenue optimization. This role is ideal for an emerging hospitality professional seeking practical experience in hotel management within a lifestyle luxury environment. LOCATION: Nantucket, Massachusetts PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Front Office & Guest Experience: Learn and support Front Desk operations, reservations management, guest arrival/departure procedures, personalized service delivery, guest issue resolution, and service recovery. Housekeeping Operations: Gain exposure to housekeeping standards, room inspections, quality assurance processes, room readiness, labor management, scheduling practices, productivity standards, and inventory controls. Rooms Division Leadership: Work alongside Rooms Division leaders to understand departmental budgeting, forecasting, daily operations meetings, team coaching, employee engagement, operational reporting, and performance tracking. Revenue & Business Performance: Learn key hotel performance metrics including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and guest satisfaction scores. Assist with analyzing operational reports and identifying performance opportunities. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to support property‑wide initiatives, special projects, and peak operational periods.
