Senior Helpers CaregiverSenior Helpers Northern Orange County is looking for an experienced caregiver with experience in Cypress, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Long Beach, and Seal Beach.Caregiver Qualifications:Experience with transferring clients between various locations (wheelchair, bed, etc.) utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices.Experience with using a Hoyer lift and gate belt assistance.Experience with assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks, including sponge baths, bathing, toileting, grooming, etc.Experience with assisting clients with incontinence care and bedridden care.Willing to attend training regarding Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Training in all the mentioned categories is preferred.What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships.Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (walks, gardening, games, etc.)Prep meals for your clients to enjoy.Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.Why be a Senior Helper Caregiver?
