Production Foreman

Production Leader Opportunity

We are searching for a production leader! This role requires strong communication skills, experience with production lines, problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to quality & customer service. Recognizing how the role we play in production influences a customer to choose our product over the next. The ideal candidate has food production experience, loves winning, strong in problem-solving, solution-focused, detail-oriented, driven, self-directed, exhibits leadership qualities and excels at working as a key member of a team. The ability to multi-task while maintaining clear, positive communication (internally and externally) and adapting/contributing to this fast-growing organization, is essential in this position.

Essential Functions:

• Production Scheduling
• Team Training & employee development
• Lead production teams
• Assist in managing inventory and orders to ensure all components are ready for successful production
• Assumes personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while incorporating safety and health in all jobs and tasks
• Identify problems, coordinate and facilitate meetings with appropriate groups as required to identify and implement solutions
• Supervise and manage employees by ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, initiate disciplinary action and evaluate performance
• Conduct frequent line tours and adhere to standard work
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete and on time
• Communicate with managers and other supervisors about status of employees and production
• Promote team environment and facilitate cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality and productivity improvements
• Ensure all policies, procedures and activities related to Food Safety & Quality are followed and complied with to reduce product and process variability
• Performs other related duties and assigned by leadership

Experience with prrod production, track record of improved production performance, experience with USDA and SQF, both preferred, general technical knowledge and proficiency with ability to learn new systems quickly, experience with food safety and compliance regulators. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods and comfortable working in various temperature conditions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other platforms, ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency, detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, exceptional written and oral communication skills. Bi-Lingual skills an plus (Spanish, Hmong, and/or Vietnamese). Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
