Performs other tasks as required. This opening is for evening shift.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Organizes personnel assignments and training to meet daily customer production schedules while maintaining safety and quality requirements· Perform daily employee performance & attendance management actions· Assist in developing and orientate new team members· Drive and lead organizational strategic imperatives and initiatives· Implement improvement ideas by leveraging team members feedback and suggestions on opportunities· Assist in developing a culture focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost· Communicate relevant business information, company policies, and business updates to team members· Collaborate cross functionally with other departments and organizational stakeholdersKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Behavioral based safety· ISO Standards/Quality Management System· OSHA and Environmental standards· Performance Management· Operational Excellence / Lean / Continuous Improvement· Working knowledge of DMAIC methodology· Strong written and verbal communication· Advanced Leadership and Team Management skills· Critical Thinking - Problem Solving Process / A3 / 8D / 5WhY - Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPointMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION:Bachelor Degree Required or equivalent combination of education and experience; 1yr experience may substitute for 1yr of degreeWORKING CONDITIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20-50lbs) Examples: Nurses, LVNs and physical therapistsENVIRONMENT: Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights.
