Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Oakland, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatrics OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Operating Room Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Oakland, California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for pediatric patients within a multidisciplinary team at a facility focused on neonatal, adolescent, and pediatric populations. The role requires overseeing a variety of surgical procedures in a dynamic environment with opportunities to float to other UCSF campuses as needed. Job Details: Shift Schedule: 10-hour shifts during the day, starting at 0645 or 0845, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Certifications: BLS, CNOR, PALs, and CA RN License required. BSN is mandatory for all RN positions. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of pediatric operating room experience. Preferred Certifications: CNOR. Preferred Experience: Ambulatory operating room, cardiovascular operating room. Additional Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. Experience with pediatric general surgery, trauma, and specific surgical procedures is desirable. Travel and Float Requirements: Ability to float to other UCSF campuses within a 75 mile radius. Start Date: 09/22/2026 Work Environment: Involves working with neonatal, adolescent, and pediatric patients across a multidisciplinary team in a busy surgical environment. Includes participation in special procedures, surgical scrubbing, and patient monitoring.
