Details Pediatric OR unit within a children's hospital setting 10-hour day shifts with variable start times (0645, 0845, or 1045), rotated weekly based on department need Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend coverage May be required to float to other UCSF facilities within a 75 mile radius Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active CA RN license required in hand BSN required BLS and PALS certifications required CNOR certification preferred Minimum 3 years of experience required Prior Pediatric General OR experience required Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, and Trauma experience preferred Teaching hospital experience required Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Epic charting experience required Children's facility experience strongly preferred Additional Information Provide surgical nursing care within a Pediatric Operating Room in a teaching hospital environment Any prior employment history with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed for a rehire eligibility check Two references from the most recent employer required for consideration Travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit, and married couples may not work on the same unit All RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager at time of offer; no additional RTO requests accepted mid-contract, and RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates First-time travelers may not be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-740651.
