Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate to join our client's team in Wausau, WI. This position works first shift, Monday-Friday, with hours varying from 6am to 2:30pm or 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday and pays $22-25 per hour .

We're looking for a First Shift Warehouse Associate who's not afraid of hard work, knows their way around reach trucks and order pickers, and believes in doing things safely and efficiently. You'll join a fast-paced team in a 220,000 sq. ft. warehouse where integrity, teamwork, and a no-drama approach to getting things done are the name of the game.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating stand-up forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Picking customer orders using RF scanners, labeling cases, staging pallets, and loading trucks in route sequence.
• Helping route and build orders for next-day deliveries, ensuring everything is organized and locked up.
• Scanning, moving, and verifying inventory like a barcode ninja.
• Maintaining your assigned aisle and keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Reporting damaged products, unsafe conditions, or anything else that looks off.
• Working at heights (up to 20 feet) with proper safety gear-because safety is key.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to be certified on reach trucks and other warehouse equipment (order picker a bonus).
• Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
