Family Office Accountant / Bookkeeper

Opening: PART-TIME Family Office Accountant / Bookkeeper (Direct Hire) City: Lakewood, WA WHO THEY ARE: We are a private family office supporting two principals with a diverse portfolio of six privately held businesses, investments, and personal financial interests. Our small, professional office provides centralized accounting and administrative support across multiple entities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality. WHAT YOU'LL DO: In this role, you will provide day-to-day accounting and financial support for a private family office overseeing multiple businesses and personal accounts. Responsibilities will include paying household and business expenses, reconciling bank, brokerage, and investment accounts, maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks, and assisting the CPA with tax filings, estimated payments, and year-end documentation. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential financial information. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: 80K-100K salary DOE Flexible Part-Time hours (2-3 days/week) WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping or accounting experience, including extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online. Experience with account reconciliations, bill payment, financial recordkeeping, and working with CPAs is highly preferred.
