This position is onsite in Culver City, CA. About the Role KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, is seeking a Controller - Funds & SPVs in Culver City, CA. Lead fund and SPV accounting and finance, with a path to manage companies broader finance function and a three-person internal team. Responsibilities Own accounting and financial reporting for funds, SPVs and investment entities. Manage monthly and quarterly closes, reconciliations, financial statements and supporting schedules. Oversee fund-administrator output and reconcile it to internal books and investment data. Manage capital calls, distributions, investor allocations and investment-level cash activity. Maintain accounting for loans, preferred equity, notes, warehouse facilities and related entities. Coordinate audits, tax work, treasury and liquidity reporting. Build scalable controls and processes and grow into leadership of the finance department. Requirements Senior fund-accounting experience in private credit, private equity, real estate funds or alternatives. Strong fund and SPV accounting capabilities. Hands-on operator with the capacity to manage a growing department. CPA helpful; relevant operating experience more important.
