This position is responsible for leading production personnel, coordinating blending activities, ensuring quality standards are met, promoting safe work practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong manufacturing background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate and develop employees while maintaining efficient and compliant production processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate daily blending and production activities to meet operational goals Assign work, monitor workflow, and maintain production and labor records Oversee raw material and fluid inventory utilization to maximize storage and operational efficiency Ensure all blending, testing, and production activities meet established quality standards Supervise, mentor, and develop production team members through coaching, training, and performance management Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that increase efficiency and productivity Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality requirements, and safety regulations Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational objectives and support plant performance goals Troubleshoot production challenges and coordinate appropriate corrective actions Qualifications: Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, blending, chemical, lubricants, or process-driven environment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong communication and team-building skills Ability to interpret production data and make sound operational decisions Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred Preferred Background: Manufacturing supervision Chemical processing or blending operations Industrial fluids, lubricants, coatings, or related process industries Production scheduling and workforce management Quality systems and process controls Continuous improvement initiatives Ready to Lead?
