Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• 3 Elementary Resource teachers
• 2 Contract SC Classic Teachers
• 3 Middle School Resource teachers
• 5 High School Resource/Co-Teaching positions
• 2 Self-Contained placements at a dedicated Northwood location
• 1 Self-Contained role at Northwood Success Academy

Qualifications:

• Fully licensed Special Education Teacher in Missouri required, or candidacy with pending MO license if fully licensed elsewhere
• Relevant experience in resource, self-contained, or co-teaching environments in a school setting
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Strong collaboration skills for working with general education staff, related service providers, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction, modifications, and supports tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student growth and progress
• Engage in ongoing professional development and abide by district standards and compliance requirements
