Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

- Elementary Resource (3 positions)
- Middle School Resource (3 positions)
- Contract SC Classic Teacher (2 positions)
- High School Resource/Co-Teaching (5 positions)
- Self-Contained at Northwood School (2 positions)
- Self-Contained at Northwood Success Academy (1 position)
Candidates should bring a strong passion for supporting students with exceptional needs and the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and administrators.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher license in Missouri (Required)
- Candidates with pending MO licensure and active licensure in another state may be considered
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- No virtual options; all positions require in-person attendance
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction and differentiated lessons
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers
- Regular communication with families regarding student progress
- Maintain compliance with all district and state special education requirements
