Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule

12-hour night shifts. Weekend requirements: Yes, every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 4 weeks. Guaranteed hours: Not specified.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty required.
• Active RN license required in the state.
• Certifications required: BLS; NIH Stroke Scale.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.
• Experience with telemetry and emergency care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
