Senior Account Executive - Digital Banking Sales (Europe)

Its platforms run digital banking, lending, payments and core banking for leading banks around the world. It is part of a group of mission-critical software businesses. The opportunity Our client is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive new business for its Digital Engagement platform across Europe. The platform supports banks across mobile, web, assisted channels and open ecosystems. It helps them acquire and retain customers, improve user experience, meet regulatory requirements and compete in an increasingly digital market. You’ll sell to Tier 1, 2 and 3 financial institutions, engaging senior business and technology leaders, up to C-level, on their digital transformation strategy. This is a quota-carrying hunter role for someone who wants to sell something that matters and be judged on real results. What you’ll do Own the full new business cycle: prospecting, qualification, value creation, negotiation and close, with new logos and existing customers. Cross-sell Digital Engagement into the existing customer base, working with Global Key Account Managers to grow footprint and deal size. Position the platform as a strategic decision rather than a feature purchase, linking technology to growth, cost reduction, compliance and speed to market. Lead complex deals end to end with presales and solution experts, including RFx responses and bid teams. Own contract negotiations with legal, finance and senior stakeholders. What you’ll bring 7+ years selling enterprise software or SaaS. 5+ years in financial services, ideally retail banking, digital banking or fintech. A record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and consistently overachieving against target. Confidence engaging and challenging C-level executives. A consultative, hunter mindset with strong ownership. Experience working across matrix organisations. Experience supporting banks through digital transformation (desirable). Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus. Sell a mission-critical, analyst-recognised platform trusted by leading banks. Work on strategic enterprise deals rather than transactional sales. Strong presales support, product depth and global reference customers.
