Associate Director, Business HR- Commercial Neuroscience

Associate Director of Business HR for AbbVie's Commercial Neuroscience division, serving as strategic partner to business leaders on talent management, organizational development, and HR program delivery. The role combines people strategy development with direct management responsibilities and requires extensive HR experience in a global pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

Partner strategically with business leaders on talent management, succession planning, and leadership development
Develop and execute HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent meeting current and future business needs
Lead large-scale, multi-year strategic projects and organizational transformation initiatives
Drive people manager development and foster high engagement and performance culture
Manage direct reports through coaching, feedback, and capability building

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
8+ years of human resources experience
Knowledge of business regulations and strong business acumen
Experience in organizational development, design, and effectiveness
Proven strategic thinking and project leadership across multiple initiatives
Experience supporting global businesses and international stakeholders
Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
