Associate Director, Market Analytics and Business Insights

Associate Director overseeing market analytics and business intelligence for a newly launched Parkinson's disease treatment. The role involves designing research initiatives, synthesizing market data, and providing strategic insights to cross-functional stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Serve as intelligence partner to Parkinson's franchise providing strategic insights and market trends
• Lead custom research projects independently and manage supplier relationships to deliver actionable learnings
• Synthesize research, analytics, and market intelligence data to develop strategic recommendations
• Design and execute measurement plans to assess in-market tactics performance and impact
• Manage research programs within budget while ensuring compliance with financial and ethical guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MA, MS, MBA, PhD) preferred
• Approximately 10 years of marketing research and/or analytics experience
• Pharmaceutical industry experience with knowledge of prescribing data, sales data, formulary data, and patient-level data
• Strong analytical reasoning, business acumen, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across organizational levels
• Project management skills and ability to work in matrixed, fast-paced environments
• Cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills with internal teams and external agencies
