Warehouse General Manager

General Manager – Distribution Location: Warren, OH. Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 annually. Pay Type: Exempt & Salary paid twice per month. Bonus: up to 20% of salary annually. Schedule: Monday–Friday day shift, availability for other shifts as needed. Job Summary The General Manager – Distribution manages the overall financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple accounts. The role is responsible for profitable retention and growth of business within their span of control while ensuring financial, employee, safety, and customer satisfaction goals are met. Key Responsibilities Set goals, develop skill assessments, IDPs, and career development plans. Evaluate performance and provide ongoing employee feedback, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. Develop direct and indirect reports; conduct quality personnel selections. Maintain staffing levels and prevent unnecessary outside labor. Create and maintain location processes and conduct self‑audits. Coordinate cross‑training of CLS and CLC. Resolve customer satisfaction and problem issues. Track KPI performance and implement improvements. Train all staff in Transportation/Distribution Management. Improve employee retention and reduce accidents. Review and reduce unnecessary overtime. Report and follow up on collision, safety, and injury incidents. Initiate and improve location processes, assigning responsibility to CLC/CLS. Perform SOX invoice reconciliation and revenue recognition. Invoice customers and perform additional duties as assigned.
