Fire Suppression Service Technician

Responsibilities Perform service and repairs on portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and suppression gas systems, as well as related building system products, at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot, and install products from multiple manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products. Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service. Perform inspections of suppression gas systems based on contract requirements. Qualifications Excellent communication and organizational skills. Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills. Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred: manufacturer certifications (e.g., ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem). Compensation and Benefits Hiring hourly range: $20–$26 (rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities). This position includes a competitive benefits package.
