Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for PCU patients, following the plan of care and medical orders
- Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments, observe effects, and document precisely
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Provide teaching, discharge planning, and age-appropriate education to patients and families
- Delegate tasks to other nursing staff based on competence and scope of practice; supervise as assigned

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Current BLS certification
- PCU or step-down unit experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to patient-care needs
- Competent in caring for patients across age groups as assigned
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
