Purchasing Assistant/Customer Service Specialist

Contract to hire Hybrid Schedule Detail-oriented and customer-focused Purchasing Assistant / Customer Service Representative to support daily purchasing operations, vendor coordination, order processing, and customer communication. This role is responsible for assisting with purchase orders, tracking shipments, maintaining inventory records, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers Assist with creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and shipment updates Maintain accurate purchasing records, inventory data, and supplier information Follow up on open orders and resolve delivery or invoice discrepancies • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. • Proficient in Excel; 2+ years experience in purchasing/customer service Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
