Mid-Level Litigation Attorney

Overview A law firm seeks a Mid‑Level Litigation Attorney for a remote or hybrid position based in Newport Beach, California. The attorney will manage a variety of litigation matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, construction, breach of contract, and tort claims, from inception to resolution. Responsibilities Manage legal strategy, research, and drafting pleadings and motions. Oversee discovery processes and argue motions in court. Attend mediations and trials. Collaborate with team members and mentor under experienced partners. Requirements Current admission to the California State Bar. 3+ years of civil litigation experience, including defending tort claims. Experience in preparing pleadings, discovery, and legal briefs. Proficiency in arguing motions and attending mediations preferred. Trial experience is a plus. Exceptional communication and advocacy skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the California State Bar. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Effective communication and client management abilities. Proficient in litigation processes and courtroom procedures.
