Qualifications and Skills:

• Active Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and IDEA compliance
• Confident in conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct and consultative OT services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Adaptability to both in-person and potential virtual service delivery

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for students
• Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Educate and support school staff and parents to foster inclusive learning environments
• Adapt therapeutic strategies to best serve a variety of learning and developmental needs
