Job Description

Our client, a family owned and operated manufacturing company, is looking for a Shipping Associate to join their team in Natick.

Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to take ownership of the shipping operations at a busy manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being the go-to person for ensuring products are packed and shipped correctly

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (Overtime opportunities! - Some flexibility on hours)

Pay: $23.00/hour

Responsibilities:

Manage all daily shipping operations as the primary shipping associate on site
Pack a wide range of products from small parcels to large, heavy shipments, ensuring they are secure and protected based on size, shape, and fragility
Use ERP system to generate packing lists, shipping labels, bills of lading, and waybills (UPS, FedEx, LTL)
Ensure all outgoing shipments include the appropriate documentation, including any required certifications
Organize and maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the shipping area
Order and stock shipping supplies as needed
Assist with basic inventory tasks when shipping volume is low
Prioritize quality and accuracy as the final checkpoint before product leaves the facility

Qualifications & Experience:

Prior experience in a shipping role required
Familiarity with generating waybills, bills of lading, and working with small parcel and freight carriers (preferred)
Ability to lift and handle products up to 100 pounds with assistance
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors before shipment
Solid computer skills and ability to learn internal systems (ERP experience a plus)
Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and solve problems creatively
Willingness to take ownership of the department and grow with the company
