Sales Engineer

Permanent Full Time Location: Remote (USA) At GT Global Services, we help businesses across the US and Canada design, buy, and support the technology their operations run on. From network and data center infrastructure to cybersecurity, cloud voice, and on-site field services, customers come to us when they need a complete solution rather than a single product. We are looking for a Sales Engineer to be the technical half of that conversation. You will work alongside our account executives and channel partners to scope requirements, design solutions, and turn them into proposals customers can act on. If you like being in front of customers, translating business problems into architecture, and owning the technical win, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Partner with account executives on discovery calls to understand customer environments, requirements, and constraints Design end-to-end solutions spanning networking, data center, cybersecurity, cloud voice, connectivity, and managed services Build bills of material, scopes of work, and technical proposals, and price them with vendor and distribution partners Lead product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical presentations for customer and partner audiences Own the technical sections of RFPs, RFQs, and security questionnaires Act as technical liaison to vendor partners including Cisco, HP, Microsoft, RingCentral, and Zoom Conduct site surveys and infrastructure assessments and document findings for the delivery and field services teams Hand off closed opportunities to project management with complete, accurate technical documentation Stay current on vendor roadmaps, certifications, and competitive positioning Qualifications: 3+ years in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a senior technical role, ideally with a VAR, MSP, or systems integrator Working knowledge across several of: routing and switching, wireless, firewalls, structured cabling, data center, UCaaS, and endpoint or managed security Experience building bills of material and quotes through distribution Comfortable presenting to both IT staff and business stakeholders Vendor certifications an asset (Cisco, Microsoft, Fortinet, Meraki, RingCentral, Zoom) Strong written communication for proposals, statements of work, and RFP responses Willingness to travel to customer sites as required University or College degree/diploma an asset GT is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
