Dietary Director

As a Dietary Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the exceptional quality of our dining services. Our dedicated team of caregivers is committed to providing personalized attention and supporting the independence of our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the dietary department, managing daily operations, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Oversees the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service Manages and trains a team of dietary staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery Develops and implements policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain quality and safety standards Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including federal and state regulations, as well as company policies Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized dietary plans for residents Manages inventory, budgets, and supplies to ensure efficient use of resources Develops and implements strategies to improve customer satisfaction and resident engagement Requirements: Experience in a dietary or food service management role Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with dietary software and computer systems High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred Work Environment: Full-time position in a long-term care community Competitive Salary Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and supportive work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
