Customer Support Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, Openshift, or on-prem clusters).

Expertise in Docker and containerized application deployment.

Solid understanding of Linux internals, networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.

Familiarity with YAML, Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and GitOps workflows.

Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Go).

Experience with CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native tooling.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).

Strong debugging, incident management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills for customer-facing support and documentation Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure during critical events.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead triage for Severity 1/Severity 2 incidents related to Kubernetes platform or containerized applications.

Conduct deep technical root cause analysis (RCA), document corrective actions, and implement preventive measures.

Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and application teams to drive rapid restoration and long-term fixes Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Kubernetes clusters, nodes, pods, deployments, and networking components.

Manage and support container orchestration, including autoscaling, service mesh, ingress controllers, and load balancing.

Perform configuration management, cluster upgrades, patching, and security hardening.

Ensure high availability, resilience, and performance of Kubernetes-based workloads
