Project ManagerThe role of a project manager is to lead projects to the satisfactory completion of all stakeholders. He or she is the valued and trusted partner of the customer and the project team, increasing the business performance, reducing the project risks and enhancing the reputation of our business. The Project Manager will work in the Battery Storage organization based in the Americas. The Project Manager will work with the Battery Storage organization based in the Americas, reporting to the Director, Project Management Americas.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking in close cooperation with Energy Storage project and engineering teams, lead project management for battery storage projectsProvide leadership and guidance in project planning to the entire Fluence project team including interfacing with internal engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning and business administrationWork with customers, suppliers, sales and senior management as necessary to ensure full life cycle project deliverables are metParticipate in business improvement projects including documenting and communicating initial project plans and any/all changes to the plan to battery storage teamLead the implementation effort of the project until its satisfactory completionImprove the financial performance of the project while maintaining and enhancing customer and project team satisfactionTransfer the project after completion to the Fluence service organizationRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBS/BA in an engineering discipline5+ years of relevant experience in related field5+ years of experience as a project manager with P&L responsibilityLeadership, collaboration and influencing skillsBusiness acumenDemonstrated ability working in a matrixed and global organizationPMP certification is a plusSix Sigma or LEAN experience is a plusRequired travel: 30%Our CultureAt Fluence, our culture is the foundation that drives our ambitious growth strategy and fuels our mission to transform the future of energy.
