Quick Facts Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO Start Date: 07/21/2025 End Date/Duration: Ongoing, with potential extension Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (7 PM – 7 AM) Hours/week: 36 hours (based on schedule) Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: ANCC, BLS, Board Certified, DEA required Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma/surgical experience or completion of surgical fellowship preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $136,822 – $179,379 annually (based on experience) Additional Compensation: Up to $10,000 annually through QVIP; Relocation bonus up to $10,000 Benefits Include: Fully paid malpractice insurance CME allowance up to $3,500/year and 5 CME days Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement plans: 403(b) with match and optional 457(b) Paid time off, family leave, and additional leave options Education benefits and PSLF eligibility What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive overnight trauma and acute care surgery services Conduct patient assessments, interpret diagnostics, and create treatment plans Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings Support surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management Document all care accurately in Epic EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care Maintain compliance with hospital policies and medical staff bylaws Participate in ongoing mentorship, leadership, and education initiatives What You Need Valid ANCC certification, Board Certification, active BLS, and DEA registration At least 2 years of trauma or surgical experience (or fellowship completion) Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with medical teams Commitment to patient safety, excellence, and continuous learning About the Assignment Join a highly respected Level II trauma center in Loveland, Colorado, known for delivering top-tier surgical care in a supportive, professional environment.
