IT Systems & API Integration Manager

Salary: $63,000 - 103,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer candidates with 3–4 years of IT experience in an IPA, MSO, managed care, health plan, or medical group setting.
• We strongly prefer hands-on experience with QuickCap.
• We need experience working with APIs, system integrations, and healthcare data exchange.
• We require familiarity with healthcare EDI formats and managed care operations.
• We look for knowledge of claims processing, eligibility, provider data, and capitation workflows.
• We expect experience with SQL queries, database management, and reporting tools.
• We require awareness of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security standards.
• We value strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• We need excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• We expect the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving healthcare environment.
• A bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with HL7/FHIR integrations, API platforms, clearinghouse integrations, population health systems, Cozeva or similar healthcare analytics platforms, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Tableau, Medicare Advantage, Medi-Cal managed care, or delegated healthcare environments is preferred.
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft SQL, Azure, HIMSS, or other relevant API, interoperability, or healthcare IT credentials.

• We manage and support QuickCap operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• We design, maintain, and monitor API connections between internal systems, health plans, clearinghouses, and vendors.
• We support healthcare EDI transactions such as 837 claims, 835 remittance, 270/271 eligibility, 278 authorization, and 834 enrollment files.
• We assist with provider roster management, membership files, capitation reports, and claims data imports and exports.
• We coordinate integrations with health plans, MSOs, EMRs/EHRs, laboratories, and third-party vendors.
• We partner with operations, claims, contracting, credentialing, and quality teams to streamline workflows and increase automation.
• We troubleshoot issues involving eligibility, authorizations, claims, encounters, and provider data.
• We create reports, dashboards, and automated data processes using SQL, Excel, or other reporting tools.
• We monitor data integrity and uphold HIPAA compliance and data security standards.
• We support system upgrades, testing, implementations, and user training.
• We document technical processes, workflows, APIs, and integration specifications.
• We collaborate with vendors and internal leadership on IT initiatives and operational enhancements.
• We assist with population health, RAF/HCC, quality measure, and care gap data integrations as needed.

We are hiring a full-time IT Systems & API Integration Manager for an on-site role in Alhambra, California. In this position, we support and optimize our healthcare technology environment, system integrations, and data exchange processes across the IPA/MSO landscape. You will help strengthen operational efficiency, data accuracy, compliance, and automation while supporting key departments such as claims, eligibility, contracting, credentialing, quality, and population health.
