We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our Trauma Surgery team. This is a locum position based in Santa Rosa, CA, providing inpatient coverage in a hospital setting. The provider will work three days a week, totaling 12 shifts per month, with flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient trauma surgery support alongside the surgical team.
• Work primarily from 6:30am to 4:30pm, with guaranteed 8 hours per shift.
• Participate in hospital-based coverage with no call requirements.
• OT hours (if applicable) must be preapproved by the medical director.

Scheduling & Shift Details

• Coverage: Inpatient hospital setting
• Schedule: 3 days/week, 4 weeks/month (flexible)
• Shift Time: 6:30am-4:30pm
• Provider minimum shifts: 12/month
• Guaranteed hours per day: 8
• OT hours: 8 hours/day (preapproved)

Credentialing Requirements

• Current CV uploaded with all hospital affiliations
• California active license
• DEA registration
• Board Certification or truly BE
• All HBS specialty requirements: 2 years of recent hospital clinical activity, explanation for gaps >3 months, current case logs for surgical specialties

• Providers will not be in the OR.
• Travel reimbursement details available for transportation to/from airports and lodging.
