Associate Product Manager

Claims Concierge is the property damage claims partner for personal injury law firms. We handle the end-to-end property damage claim so PI attorneys can focus on the bodily injury side while their clients get a better experience.

A property damage claim touches a lot of people: the law firm, the claimant, the carrier, the body shop, the dealership, the rental company. We're building a company around being a genuine partner to every one of them. Each party should come away from a Claims Concierge file thinking that was the easiest part of the process. That isn't a customer service goal bolted onto the operation. It is the company, and it shapes who we hire, what we build, and how we measure ourselves.

We're VC backed, and in the year since launch we've signed PI firms of every size, from solo shops to the household names on the highway billboards. The operation is live, the volume is climbing, and now we're hiring our first product manager to build the product that lets it scale.

The Role

You'll be our first product hire. Until now, product has lived with our founder and CEO, who spent his career as a product leader before starting Claims Concierge. You'll take that work over directly, learn how he thinks about it, and make it your own.

Your product is the property damage claim itself, and everyone who touches it: the case managers and appraisers working files inside our system, the claimants waiting to hear about their car, the partner law firms who need to know what's happening without having to ask, and the carriers, body shops, dealerships, and rental companies on the other end of every call. You'll own the experience each of them has with us.

Two things define the roadmap. First, self-service: firms and claimants should be able to submit, track, upload, and get answers without waiting on a person. Second, AI: figuring out where it belongs in the process and where it doesn't. You'll spec it, prototype it, ship it with engineering, and measure whether it made the experience better.

You'll be hands-on. If building a working prototype in Replit over a weekend, walking a case manager through it on Monday, and handing engineering a spec that's already been stress-tested sounds like a good week, keep reading.

What you'll do:

• Own the end-to-end experience for every user of a claim: internal case managers and appraisers, claimants, partner law firms, and the carrier and automotive partners on the other side of the file
• Sit with case managers, listen to claimant calls, and read firm feedback to find where the process creates friction, then fix it
• Own the self-service roadmap: intake, status tracking, document upload, messaging, and a support center that lets firms and claimants get what they need without waiting on us
• Identify where AI can take work off our team's plate across the claim, from qualification and loss of use through total loss, diminished value, and carrier follow-up, and build it where it earns its place
• Build working prototypes in tools like Replit, put them in front of real users, and turn what you learn into specs engineering can build from
• Partner with engineering to productize what works: write the requirements, make the tradeoffs, run the sprints, and own the rollout
• Define the metrics for each user group (cycle time, touches per file, response times, satisfaction) and use them to decide what we build next
• Shape our case management system as it grows from an MVP into the tool our team runs the operation on
• Work directly with partners on both the automotive tech and legal tech side (case management platforms, body shop networks, dealership and rental partners) to scope, build, and launch the integrations that connect our claim to their systems
• Take product process off the founder's plate and build the discipline the company runs on from here

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years in product management, or adjacent experience (operations, engineering, design, or founding something) where you shipped software people actually used
• Insurance, legal, legaltech, or insurtech background strongly preferred. You understand claims, or you can learn them fast
• You've built prototypes yourself in tools like Replit, Lovable, or Cursor and used them to get real feedback before writing a spec
• You've shipped with engineering teams and outside partners, and can talk credibly about APIs, data models, and what makes an integration hard to build
• You've shipped products that use AI, or you've been building with LLMs on your own and can show us
• You obsess over the user. You'd rather watch someone use the product than read a dashboard about it
• You write clearly. Specs, tickets, and updates that people actually read
• You want to learn product from a founder who's done it, and you're ready to run with more scope than the title suggests
• Atlanta preferable, however with automotive, insurance, or legal tech experience - open to remote
