Specimen Processing Supervisor

Labcorp seeks a Laboratory Accessioning Supervisor for its Greenville, NC facility to oversee specimen processing operations and lead a non-technical team. The role involves supervising daily workflows, ensuring quality standards, and managing personnel across rotating day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accessioning department operations and daily workflow management
• Train, mentor, and directly supervise non-technical personnel
• Research and resolve production errors with escalation as needed
• Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain QA documentation
• Administer policies, manage staffing schedules, and handle personnel administration

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in clinical laboratory environment
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position
