Reporting to the BI Manager, the Junior Business Intelligence Analyst is a data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills. This individual utilizes their analytics experience alongside technical tools to complete analytics projects, providing stakeholders information necessary to make business decisions.Major Responsibilities:Respond quickly to inquiries from stakeholders; delivering conclusions with detailed assumptions derived from a clear understanding of the business questionDevelops and maintains advanced and dynamic dashboards in Tableau, and other tools, for the business to self-serveBe open to learning and growing -- Accumulates an understanding of the processes that create data as well as how that data is used by applications and usersUses data and process knowledge to assist data warehouse developmentThe ideal candidate will have the desire to assist with telling stories from the dataCommunicate effectively and instill confidence in produced deliverablesAbility to manipulate data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed, to drive business insights and support strategic developmentDevelops new and better analytics approaches to solve questions in a creative wayMinimum Requirements:Minimum 1 year of experience in business intelligence or relevant degreeExperience with Tableau or similar BI toolsIntermediate knowledge of SQLProven strong analytical and problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleaguesDemonstrates quick learning and growth potentialPreferred Requirements:Experience in Finance, Mortgage, BankingFairSquare serves the small business community.
