This role will provide project leadership and strategic direction to the facility through the application of our Principle Based Management Framework. The position is heavily involved in developing and managing project scopes and works closely with both internal and external teams. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. This position will be an onsite position at our Mount Jewett facility. What You Will DoDevelop investment proposals, Scopes of Work, estimates, execution plans, and related materialsOrganize and execute design, construction/installation, commissioning, start-up, and documentation activities, project cost tracking and reporting, and other projects as defined in Scope of Work and project justification proposalLead multi-discipline teams, external engineering firms, vendorsManage project schedule and track progressEnsure capable field technical support and construction management resources and systems are in place to drive project success and EH&S excellencePartner closely with purchasing and procurement resourcesEnsure compliance with internal and external safety and environmental standards and practicesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or technical fieldA minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industryA minimum of 3 years’ proven experience successfully leading and implementing engineering projectsAble and willing to travel up to 15% of the time to support other MDF facility (project dependent)What Will Put You AheadProficiency with MS Project softwareProficiency with AutoCAD softwareExperience with Ecosys project management software.Experience in the MDF industry7+ years’ experience in a manufacturing industryPMP Certification A minimum of 5 years’ experience of proven successful project management including development and executionAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
