Field Sales Representative

Acquire new members through community event activity to generate leads and referrals Assess customer needs for products and services using probing questions and listening skills Service existing members and handle inquiries about product utilization and benefits Cross-sell ancillary and other applicable products to existing members Retain existing members Maintain knowledge of CMS and state regulations Multitask and use a computer while interacting with prospects and members by phone Capture relevant information in the Customer Relationship Management system Meet sales goals, conversion rates, and cross-sell rates Contact prospective members within prescribed time limits Achieve member retention targets Maintain high member satisfaction Develop expert understanding of company products, services, and processes Requirements 4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years consumer sales experience Prior Medicare sales experience preferred but not required Life & Health insurance license required within 60 days from employment start date Active use of computer for daily job activities Ability to multitask while talking on the phone Excellent communication and listening skills Self-starter with positive attitude Adaptable to high pressure, achievement-oriented environmentDrive to build, manage, and grow a book of business High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Ability to pass AHIP Continued Education, Product Certification, Security and Compliance, Client/Carrier Certifications, and required CMS Certifications annually Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in member acquisition, retention, and satisfaction through effective communication and sales strategies.
