PhysioSpace LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic outpatient orthopedic team located in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Guide patients through a series of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities designed to enhance mobility and strength.
• Administer various modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to facilitate recovery and alleviate pain.
• Carefully monitor patient progress, documenting changes and improvements, and communicate these findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on the importance of injury prevention, providing tailored home exercise programs to promote continued recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.
• Work alongside other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and a holistic approach to patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic exercises, patient education, and manual therapy techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with patients and their families, emphasizing a patient-centered approach.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.

Preferred Experience
