What You’ll Do

Samsung Semiconductor is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Public Relations Associate Manager elevate our brand. The ideal candidate will drive U.S. media relations by developing strategic storylines and building strong relationships with key business, technology, and trade reporters. Owning the comprehensive communications platform, you will fuel brand awareness, support key business objectives, and engage the target audience through compelling content and clear communication.

Driving a high-profile business within an extremely important global industry. The role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the technology industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in media relations.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CA in alignment with our Flexible Work policy

Reports to: Director, Public Relations

• Implement comprehensive earned media strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
• Proactively pitch stories and secure media coverage.
• Plan and coordinate press conferences, media events, product launches, and other PR activities.
• Collaborate with headquarters, marketing, business units, and other internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives and marketing programs.
• Prepare and present regular reports on PR activities, media coverage, and campaign performance to senior management.
• Monitor media coverage and proactively respond to inquiries or potential crises.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years public relations agency and in-house experience, preferably within the semiconductor or the technology industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of the technology industry and trends.
• Proven ability to manage media relations and secure high-quality media coverage.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience managing risk and crisis communications.
• Inclusive and collaborative workstyle, with the ability to adapt to any situation and diverse global norms of our team.
• Proficiency in PR analytics and reporting.

Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base Pay Range

$117,000—$175,000 USD
