Business Development (Healthcare) Manager
God's Love We Deliver is New York City's leading provider of medically tailored meals and nutrition counseling for people living with serious illnesses. For nearly 40 years, we have delivered nutritious meals and compassionate support to thousands of New Yorkers at no cost to our clients.
We're seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Business Development (Healthcare) Manager to expand and strengthen partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem. This role will help increase referrals, grow community engagement, and advance our Food Is Medicine mission by building meaningful relationships with healthcare providers, managed care organizations, hospitals, health systems, and community-based organizations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship building, strategic outreach, healthcare partnerships, and leading initiatives that create measurable community impact.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare partnerships, business development, community engagement, or a related field.
- 2+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using data and KPIs to inform decision-making
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
What You'll Do
- Build and strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers, managed care organizations, hospitals, and community-based organizations.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies that increase referrals and advance our Food Is Medicine mission.
- Identify new opportunities to expand organizational impact and community engagement.
- Use data and insights to evaluate partnership performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and support team members, volunteers, and interns.
- Represent God's Love We Deliver at meetings, events, and throughout the healthcare community.
