New Business Development Manager

Our client, a leading integrated communications agency, is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented New Business & Proposal Manager to support agency growth through the development of compelling new business proposals, RFP responses, and pitch materials. This highly visible role will partner closely with executive leadership, account teams, strategists, and creatives to craft persuasive narratives and polished presentations that showcase the agency's capabilities and drive new client acquisition. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, strategic thinker, and project manager with deep experience leading proposal development within a PR or communications agency environment. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end development and management of new business proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and pitch materials Partner with agency leadership and cross-functional teams to gather insights, define strategic approaches, and develop compelling proposal narratives Translate complex information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused messaging Create, edit, and refine presentation decks that effectively communicate agency capabilities, strategic recommendations, and creative thinking Manage proposal timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder reviews to ensure high-quality submissions are completed on schedule Customize proposal content based on client objectives, business challenges, and evaluation criteria Maintain and update agency credentials, case studies, proposal templates, and content libraries Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across account, strategy, creative, and leadership teams throughout the proposal process Support pitch preparation, presentation development, and rehearsal sessions for finalist presentations Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, workflows, and overall new business effectiveness Qualifications 5+ years of experience in proposal management, business development, marketing communications, or a related function within a PR, communications, or integrated marketing agency Demonstrated success managing complex RFP and proposal processes from strategy through submiss Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a strong command of business and marketing communications Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to synthesize information from multiple stakeholders into a cohesive narrative Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation development Outstanding project management, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and senior leadership Preferred Qualifications Public relations agency experience is required Proven track record supporting successful new business pursuits and agency growth initiatives Experience developing executive-level presentations and client-facing materials Familiarity with proposal management tools and collaborative project management platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr
