What You Will Do:

• Welcome children and families with a friendly, reassuring presence while delivering exceptional pediatric dental customer service.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, check ins, checkouts, and patient flow to keep a busy dental front desk organized and efficient.
• Verify insurance information, collect payments, discuss financial arrangements, and help families understand office processes with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate clearly with dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and families to support coordinated care.
• Use dental terminology and practice management workflows to respond to questions, prioritize needs, and create an excellent patient experience.

What You Bring:

• You have prior dental front office, dental receptionist, medical reception, patient coordinator, or customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
• You communicate clearly and kindly with children, parents, guardians, and teammates, even during busy or sensitive moments.
• You are comfortable handling scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and financial arrangements with accuracy and discretion.
• You bring strong attention to detail when managing patient information, documentation, and confidential records.
• You are dependable, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative in person team in Warren, MI.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Dentrix or another dental practice management system will help you transition quickly into the role.
• Knowledge of general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, crowns, or pediatric dental procedures is valued.
• Familiarity with chairside assisting, dental assisting workflows, or clinical dental terminology is a plus and supports effective team communication.
