Lead Cook - Bellevue Area
SAGE Dining Services is seeking an experienced Lead Cook with a passion for cooking to join our team at a private Pre-K through 12th-grade school in the West side/Bellevue area of Nashville, Tennessee. SAGE offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, continuous training, and room to grow your food service career! All our team members at this school interact with a smile with the students, faculty, and staff to provide exceptional dining experiences that inspire minds and foster community. This Cook will work the afternoon/evening shift.
Our ideal candidate is someone experienced in a high-production-value culinary environment, preferably at a school or institution. However, training will be provided, and there is room to grow your culinary career!
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Hours may range from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Summers and school holidays off
- Some catering events and weekends may be required
- Hourly rate varies based on experience
Pay Type:
$23.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.
Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
