RN - Acute Care Registered Nurse
Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a dynamic acute care environment within the Midwest region. This role emphasizes best practices and exceptional customer service while upholding professional nursing standards. You will deliver care guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, state nursing regulations, and evidence-based protocols across various acute care settings including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, pediatric, and perioperative units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks and multitasking effectively.
- Apply specialized knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and colleagues, embodying core values such as respect, integrity, and empathy.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development, including certifications and leadership opportunities.
- Participate actively in team efforts, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years in acute care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is encouraged.
- Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Licensure:
Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.
